About

Who am I? I'm a Christian, native of Memphis, TN, and a graduate of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Herff College at The University of Memphis. All praise and glory to Jesus Christ, to whom I owe everything.
"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect..." 1 Peter 3:15

Obedience to Christ
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship." - Romans 12:1
"Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him" - John 14:21
The Word
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness." - 2 Timothy 3:16
"Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." - Joshua 1:8
Prayer

Fellowship
"For where two or three come together in My name, there am I with them." - Matthew 18:20
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25
Witnessing
"Come, follow Me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." - Matthew 4:19
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile." - Romans 1:16
B. Proclaim Christ
All Have Sinned
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23
"We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." - Isaiah 53:6
Sin's Penalty
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
"Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." - Hebrews 9:27
Christ Paid the Penalty
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
"For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit." - 1 Peter 3:18
Salvation Not by Works
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9
"He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit." - Titus 3:5
Must Receive Christ

Assurance of Salvation

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." - John 5:24
The Thoughts of God
1. Are our thoughts the same or different from God's?
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." - Isaiah 55:8-9
2. Let us compare our thoughts with those that God has made known to us though His Word. What do you think about death, what is there after this life?
"Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgement," - Hebrews 9:27
3. If you died today, what do you think would be the verdict of God for your life: Innocent or Guilty? Why?
The Condition of Man
1. Under what parameters will God one day judge us? Do you consider yourself a sinful person?
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23
2. According to this verse, who has sinned? Are you in this group of people? We see here the word "sin". What does this word mean to you?
"Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness." - 1 John 3:4
3. There are human and divine laws. Let us think for a moment about human laws: do you always obey human laws? How much more do you obey divine laws?
4. The Bible also tells us that there is a consequence for violating the laws of God in the following passage:
Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin." - John 8:34
5. Are you a slave to sin? Is there a way for a slave to find freedom?
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - John 8:32
